 History
In 1927, a man named Herman Wittwer founded a company in Madison, Wisconsin that would become American Family Insurance with just three employees. Today, we’re a FORTUNE 500® company — we sell insurance and financial service products in eighteen states stretching from the Pacific Northwest to Ohio.

So, what’s it like to work at American Family? We’re big on camaraderie and cooperation, and we expect inclusion and respect from every member of our team. Our culture is results-focused and we value trust, flexibility, open communication, and initiative.

So, who are we looking for? People who are driven to succeed, but aren’t afraid to fail. People who are inspired by a new challenge and excited by change. People who want to make a difference. Great people like you. There are literally hundreds of job titles at American Family, and odds are one (or more) of them is right for you! With hundreds of paths to success…which one will you choose?
