In 1927, a man named Herman Wittwer founded a company in Madison, Wisconsin that would become American Family Insurance with just three employees. Today, we’re a FORTUNE 500® company — we sell insurance and financial service products in eighteen states stretching from the Pacific Northwest to Ohio.
