Howard Alum P. Diddy signs with CAA!

Sean Combs recently released sixth studio album, world tour next

Sean "Diddy" Combs continues making moves to expand his vast empire by signing with CAA in all areas.
The CEO and founder of Bad Boy Worldwide Entertainment Group has become more than a music icon in the last 10 years, getting his feet wet across platforms including movies, television and fashion.

He's also been making aggressive moves in merchandising and licensing, forming a strategic alliance to manage branding and marketing initiatives for Ciroc Vodka.

Diddy is not a stranger to the film biz, having appeared in films including "Monster's Ball" and "Get Him to the Greek," as well as a stint in the Broadway play "A Raisin in the Sun."

While he has produced shows for MTV such as "Making the Band" and "Run's House" and ABC's adaptation of "Raisin in the Sun," Combs hasn't been as active in producing for the bigscreen, though he was an exec producer on the biopic "Notorious."

Sources say it's premature whether a production deal is in the works, since he just signed with the tenpercentery, but such a move seems likely in the future.

On the music front, he recently released his sixth studio album, "Last Train to Paris" and will soon announce the schedule for his world tour.

He is managed by Peter Safran and repped by the law firm Grubman, Indursky, Schindler.
