PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The coordinator partners with TPD marketing managers and leads to prioritize workflow, project requests, campaign services, design services, content updates, data requests, content creation, presentation services, and communication services as required. The coordinator will use all systems in TPD and be able to operate the necessary database, design, and communications systems to fulfill marketing needs. Leads small projects that include process improvement, business improvement, and some compliance requirements as determined by the TPD compliance group, internal audits, legal, etc.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides Marketing Support– Helps to facilitate effective marketing output by coordinating with creative, electronic publishing , performance, and legal. Should be able to make decisions about final content editing and communication editing. Must be able to coordinate marketing projects and output by communicating effectively between multiple internal customers. Is responsible for escalating priority items and working with internal partners to manage changing priorities. Tracking and reporting all work will be a requirement of this role to ensure transparency for internal and external clients. Works with Marketing Managers, Leads, and Liaisons to support channel strategy and be a flexible resource. Will need to have a broad knowledge of TPD products and assist as needed. Activities will be focused on development of materials, content, campaigns, events, strategies, etc… that build customer loyalty and generate income.
Mass Communication Support and Development— Helps develop, plan, and execute mass communications for the purposes of building brand loyalty and generating income. Will work with Marketing Leads, Managers, Sales, and Service staff to create and send communications as needed. Manages the end to end process of electronic and print communications to ensure accuracy and minimize errors which includes management and auditing of client data to develop mailing lists, creating or editing communications, ensuring proper legal and compliance procedures, gaining sales and service insight as needed, and assessing final communications before they are sent to large high value audiences . Works closely with electronic publishing and document publishing to solve problems and develop execution priorities including escalating errors through the proper channels in account management. Must abe able to be diplomatic when requesting a change in prioritization or escalating service concerns with account management. Support critical communications team to ensure execution of sensitive communications and uses good judgment of the development and communication of these issues. Must be able to mine database data to develop critical communications mailing lists, must be able to edit communications to be most impactful to specific channel or product requirements within TPD. Is responsible of keeping all information confidential and communicating information to TPD at the appropriate time in order to support our clients.
Project Assistance and Leadership – Assists with project management or is designated as a project lead by marketing managers, marketing leads, or marketing liaisons. These projects may include campaign initiatives, creating and editing content, developing and editing communications, developing or editing client presentations, or general business support. Will serve in a capacity as desired by marketing managers to help execute or lead initiatives. Must be able to make decisions and serve as an advocate for TPD or marketing managers if required. Will be required to work on business unit level projects as required which will include some process improvement, automation, and creation, technology implementation, workflow management, and compliance initiatives.
Process improvement - Ensures efficient and effective processes using knowledge of marketing , production, fulfillment and design processes. Identifies opportunities and makes recommendations for process improvements. Advocates for process improvement and works with marketing managers to streamline and improve processes. Coordinates changes to process with marketing managers and ensures documentation of the process change is accurate.
Data and Reporting – Understands system use and data storage for the TPD organization; Touchpoint, Sales Connect, Strongmail, and other data research as needed. Fulfills data and reporting requests required by marketing managers and leads as needed. Is able to take complex data and reporting and make it actionable and relevant to managers and executives.
QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred
Knowledge of sales and marketing principals
Minimum of 2 years of experience with a financial firm in a communication or operational capacity
