Become an integral member of the Alumni Relations team. In this role, you will promote and support Temple University by fostering lifelong global engagement with alumni, students, and the Temple family. Specific responsibilities include developing and implementing a strategic plan to expand and enhance social, cultural, and educational programming for the University's 278,000 alumni worldwide. You will also oversee the management and production of signature alumni relations events such as Alumni Weekend, Homecoming and reunions, as well as an educational travel program and various other Alumni Relations educational programs, with the intention of connecting alumni back to the University, to each other, and to current students.
You will work closely with the AVP and the Board of Directors of the TUAA on the formulation of new programming initiatives and provide day-to-day professional guidance and leadership, as well as administrative support to current programs. You will plan, organize, and develop a wide variety of program events, identify and recruit faculty and administrators as program speakers and panel members, and prepare the annual budget.
In the absence of the Assistant Vice President of Alumni Relations, the Executive Director of Alumni Programming will manage the operations of the Alumni Relations office.
