Senior Inventory Specialist:
I. Responsibilities:
Under minimal supervision of the Director Operations, Americas the Senior Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing the S&OP process for the Americas and optimizing inventory in support of on-time delivery and financial objectives.
Responsibilities include:
Manage the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to ensure demand driven material and production plans
Determine optimum inventory levels for purchased components.
Develop material requirement plans from sales and marketing forecasts for initiation and scheduling of purchases from outside vendors as well as production capacity planning.
Coordinate with Engineering to minimize the inventory impacts of product design and engineering changes.
Analyze excess, distressed and obsolete inventory and recommend disposal actions.
