African American Women's Leadership Development (1221 hits)

As a part of my dissertation, I am conducting research about African American women's leadership experiences. My name is Nicole Davis, and I am a doctoral student at Capella University in the School of Business and Technology. This research is being done in partial fulfillment of my Ph.D.

Research about African American women indicates that the intersection of race and gender influences the leadership process and opportunities for advancement. Additionally, the research shows that African American women may experience barriers to career advancement due to their race and gender.

To understand Black women's experiences, I am seeking to interview professional Black women about how they advance in their careers in spite of barriers created by racism and s*xism.

This research is CONFIDENTIAL. Participants' names and organizations will not be used in the study.

Participants who complete an interview will receive a $20 gift card.
