Welcome to the 2011 HBCU Homecoming "Pick A Winner" Contest!
The contest is simple. We list the homecoming games. You pick the winner. Simple. Right?
Prizes/Compensation
For each correct pick, you will earn an entry into our end of the season drawing. For example, if you get 15 correct picks, you
will get 15 entries. The Top 10 entry earners at the end of the contest will receive additional entries into the drawing. First
place will receive 30 additional entries, 2nd=20, 3rd=15, 4th=10, 5th=5, 6th=3, 7th and 8th=2, 9th and 10th=1. The drawing will
be held at the conclusion of the 2011 homecoming season to determine our main prize winner and subsequent 2nd and 3rd place winners.
Rules
You can make picks up until one (1) day before the game each week. On the day before the game, you will no longer be able to pick
the winner for that particular set of games.
Only one entry per person. Multiple account entries will not be honored and will be disqualified. You must be a registered member on
HBCUConnect.com and have a valid and verified e-mail address. You must be at least 18 years or
older. The contest is only open to U.S. Citizens who reside within the continental U.S.
Prizes
At the end of the contest, we will randomly select entries from a pool of entries that were earned from the contest. Starting with the
First prize, we will pull entries and award them in order of selection: First prize, Second prize, Third prize, Fourth prize, and Fifth
prize. Once you are selected as a prize winner, you will be ineligible to be considered for winning any other prizes for this contest
and therefore, we will continue pulling entries until we come across an entry that we have not awarded a prize to yet. All decisions
are final. In an event of a dispute, final judgement will be passed by the staff of HBCUConnect and the decision will be final. The
prizes are as follows
First: $100 gift card prize. Second: $50 gift card prize. Third: $25 gift card prize. Fourth: $10 gift card prize. Fifth: HBCUConnect T-shirt
All prize winners will receive a HBCUConnect T-shirt.
