We tend to let whomever wants to step come and try to twurk it out in the beginning. If there is a problem and a person can't handle the show, we ask them to either step it up, or sit this one out. Its not a rude thing, but we want to take the very best and present them at a step show.
**Side note... I'm feelin the pic in ur sig line Mr. I Phi T.**
"Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc, is a non-hazing, non-pledgin organization."
I won't be the reason we get booted off the yard and end up locked up. If they TELL u they weren't hazed, its cuz thats what they want u to know. Don't toally write them off as LAME...ur not one of their LB's so u know NOTHING.
Yeah A&T doesn't do the Fall lines thing. It's so hectic I'm kinda glad we don't.
But this whole "Indoor" probate thing is new to me. I mean other than in a gym, we usually do them outside. That Iota probate looks hype as hell though. Where was that?
I REALLY don't think something as simplistic as hand shake means more than "hi...how r u?" Thats some of the problems we encounter with "Greeks" "Non-Greeks" "tryin to be down" and so on and so forth. Everything isn't about the organization at first glace.... u think maybe they were just being polite. So if people come to thee meetings and DON'T speak..are they not being rude??
I am currently in the position of Tamias Grammateus which makes me Asst Treasurer and the head of fundraising.
Who knows what I might be in the coming year.....
The Zeta Alpha Chapter of ZetaPhiBeta Sorority Inc. is the ONLY member of the Divine Nine to have NEVER been sespended from the yard since it was established on A&T's campus in 1934.
Actually....neither has The Gamma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. We just been inactive.
Well this is speaking of before guyz came back. We've been active since inception.

I can agree with that to some extent. Actually I "pledged and organziation in middle school. It is called Omega Delta. Begun by a man of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc and u guessed it! a lady of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated. We had line names, numbers, tasks to complete while we were "on line", and at the end we had a death march and final ceremony. The thing about it is, we all had to keep grades, have a mentor, serve as a mentor, and do service within the school and community. It was a good learning experience and we had fun.
Now that I have Zeta in my heart, I see how knowing some of what was to come takes the "fun" outta joining. But ain middle school we never hoppped, partied, had signs or calls. It was fun, but coming to Zeta land was soooo much more.
