yea .lol.but thanks.they said i should be recieving a decision by december 30th. its like as the days and weeks go by i lose interests.ive been accepted to 3 schools so far one which is Temple University and im highly considering temple now.whoot whoot.

i got into Tuskegee, shaw university and Fayetteville State University. i was pretty interested in Tuskegee but i think i really wanna go to either St. Johns, Drexel, or Rutgers...spelman also..though i doubt theyll give me good money.

dc is not bad unless ur stupid. people at howard think its ok 2 walk around by themselves in the middle of the night in a back alley looking all uppity. then wonder y they get robbed. just speak 2 people and u will be fine dont act like ur better than anyone. start 2 love gogo the best music ever.

it was easy for me. ive pretty much finished the application. however i might go baq and add more extracurricular activities and stuff. after that all thats left is paying and sending transcripts ans sat scores.
its only been a week in school and i have been bombarded with tests and homework that go on for hours. i can only pray i make it through the school year. i have already applied for Temple! (my new first choice), sent in my app fee, only gotta send in transcript and sat scores now(takin that in Oct). wish me luck=]
im really starting to learn more towards Temple (a non-HBCU) i think reality is starting to sink in. college is expensive and most HBCUs are quite stingy with their money so unless i break a 2400 on that SAT im not gonna expect much from an HBCU. however, i still plan on applying to Spelman, Hampton, Tuskegee and Fisk=]

I was at Howard for the past 6 weeks in a prefreshman program and Howard felt like home away from home I'm so ready to see all of my fellow classmates....Class of 2012 is here!!!!

well actually dillard called it a "personal statement" they just wanted me to write out my career goals, why i chose to apply for the school, and hs activities in a complete thought. that was like the most simple essay i've ever written......FYI EVERYONE DILLARD UNIVERSITY GIVES AWAY SCHOLARSHIPS LIKE CRAZY! hmm ok where to start?hbculover- i am going to apply to howard, hampton, USC-Aiken, UNC-Chapel Hill, Univ. of Maryland-Eastern Shore, Hunter College, and Newberry College. i plan to major in nursing with the exception of howard. if i attend howard i will major in either nursing or film production. i plan on applying early action to howard, hampton, and USC-Aiken for right now. so yeah......and like everyone else, i do the scholarship searching but i dont look forward to writing a whole bunch of essays cause im mad lazydeuces
o thats cool. if u want to know nething about the area surrounding howard or DC in general im ya girl. im lazy too, i hope i get my game up soon cause i cant afford to b lazy this year.=[
^^yep thats exactly what i did i just finished writing one for dillard it took me about 25 minutes i proofread it and everything
i didnt start writing the essays yet..first, im not sure if they are for 2008-2009 , they may change some stuff. secondly, ive got tons of summer work to do.lol
^^yeah i try lol. thanx i hope things work out for you as well. im gonna try to take the ACT twice i didnt study either at i took it during the 1st semester when i was in the 10th grade and made a 21 so i know i'll do better next time. hopefully my essay will win them over because im gonna write about growth: from the time a was a freshman and hurricane katrina hit to the point where i am now academically and mentally like i said i really hope that helps
u plan on doing much better on my SAT also. yea, the essay's gotta b bomb. like my mentor and advisers tell me that the essay is basically for them to get 2 know who u are as a person, ur character. like if u want to write about a tragic time in ur life try 2 relate that to how you have grown and or become a better person as a result.
