Most women that I know would be for the usual "I get half of everything", until it comes to them having more money, then alot of times they have a different opinion. Personally I feel that if the love is there then it shouldnt matter, but if for some reason we do happen to break, I dont feel that my spouse "deserves" ish that she didnt herself work for. For instance, Kobe's wife. If they were to split she'd be rich, when coming into the marriage, she didnt have ish!! Thats not right...
It would serve him right his dumb a** should not have married. I am not signing any prenup. A man should find him a woman with her own career instead of finding these women looking for a free ride. Then you wont have to worry about a prenup. But I would hope my future spouse would care more about my well being and how I am doing if our marriage ever was to end and want to split half with me anyway, instead of thinking of what profit he will walk away with. That is the mark of a very selfish person and they may want to reevaluate getting married.
All I'm saying is people get into these relationships that were not meant to be. Whether my future husband is Black or White I dont know. Nor do I care. I wont fight over a man just because he is Black. If it is meant to be it will work out. I'm not gonna act a fool over it. I think that was a part of the point the man in the movie was trying to make.
^^Please point out where I said all Black men are like that? I never made that statement. I think that as Black men we need to stop acting like bulls......always going back and forth butting heads with one another. Yes some men are tired but that is because they CHOSE a rowdy woman to tire them out. Some Black men decided to be with that loud ghetto girl then have the nerve to wonder why things did not work out. Some Black men CHOOSE to come home and fight instead of saying "look baby I'm not gonna continue to fight with you like this. Either we sit down and work this out like adult and work this out or we cant work out" or the ever unpopular "OK baby. ITS NOT THAT BIG A DEAL. We'll do it your way this time". (Hard, right?)
I mean the mark of an adult is common sense which people seem to loose when getting into some of the relationships that they choose to get into.
Personally I refuse to stay in this struggle over the white woman for Black men. If I find me a nice white man to be with for the rest of my life thats fine with me.
Hmmmm..............thats ok. I'm tired of hearing about how Black men think that their plight is so bad and that Black women are this and that. Find you someone who is made for you and stop trying to get the girl your boys think is the bomb or who you think you can have good sex with. Then come back and talk to me. Rant over.
