Hello Im interested in a school with a really good science program... The schools I dont want to go to is- *Howard-I have premed friends there who transferred out, because the science program is TERRIBLE. *Hampton- boring azz town, boring college. *FAMU, since everybody and their mama go there lol(its my state hbcu) *XULA, because I want a more traditional college with sports, plus with the whole katrna thing etc. *PVAMU Its too far from home, and they barely take OOS students anyway, and its i a boring town *Oakwood university, its religiously affiliated, boring, too strict. Not a traditional college.. *Spelman- All womens college Clark atlanta- not good in science from what I hear
Are there other HBCU really strong in the sciences? RSVP!!

Going to ASU in the fall and wanna know how it REALLY is. Not what they tell on the sites or tell someone what to say but the nitty gritty, THE LOWDOWN, what's really what.
I would say you were right. Pwi looks good, but my advise to you is too really look at Spelman. Its a good school and it's premed program is great. I'm in your shoes too.
I plan on going into pre-dental so Howard is #1 to me.
Hey guys! I will be attending Xavier University of Louisiana this fall (fall 2011). All my life I've wanted to be an AKA and when I looked into XULA, it said that they had an AKA chapter, however I cannot find ANY information on it. Is Xavier's AKA chapter still running? Are they on probation or something? Please let me know! Thanks!!
