It has always been a thought of mine but why don't men seem to like muscular women? I'm not talking body builders or nothing like that but women who, well, have muscles! Are you intimidated by a woman who can bench press more than you? Are you afraid that the day u try to hit her she might actually put yo ass in the hospital? I'm just dying to know.
Hmmm...
Mos def My Mama! lol, while she got on my nerves A LOT she always put me first in her life and pushes me to make my own decisions in life. I would be devastated if something happened to her.
My female bestfriends (they know who they are). These chosen few are the most hilarious women i have ever met in my life and I don't think I would have made it through half of my life with all my hair if not for them.
Madame CJ Walker/Oprah: it's a tie. these women broke the norm and entered the business world with a determination to be the eff'n best. they keep me on my feet in wanting to become not only another million/billionaire but an African-American FEMALE million/billionaire not not by accident. but by hardwork.
BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL!
Keke and Mekhi?
Ehhh, I know it's just a movie but 14 and 32 is a big gap!
Winter was 17 and Midnight was like 26 right?
I mean yeah yeah they far in age but i mean Keke has that spunk that Winter had. I could see her bringing that role to life and Mekhi is just...a magnificent black actor!
I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE SECOND BOOK AND THE MOVIE!
I read it back in highschool and was like "damn". I don't think any other book has done that for me, lol. But I am a major advocate of Keke Palmer playing Winter...Keke has that spunk and I agree that Mekhi would make an excellent Midnight.
its a sequel to the coldest winter ever? damn i didnt even know that? they should make it into a movie. but No Disrespect is actually pretty good...I'm a quarter of the way through
Personally, I have never experienced a long distance relationship. However, if distance is the only issue, I would not be opposed to it. If things get serious enough, the distance will only be a short term problem. If an individual is compatible with you, don’t let the distance bother you.
couldnt have said it better myself! dont let the distance kill the love! its hard...lord knows it is hard but if he/she means as much to u as u say then it is definitely worth it!!!!
LONG LIVE THE LDR (long distance relationship)!
If you could sum up your fantabulous personality in three words, what would they be...and why ?
unqiue, emotional, funny
im too lazy to explain it all but the people who are closest to me can assure you that once u meet me you will never forget me
:-)
This strait sounds like me a month ago....I'm currently in a long distance relationship right now, and we have been discussing "us in college". I was all for breaking up and gettin back together later, maybe, until I started catchin real hard feelings for him. Now I kinda feel like we should stay together as long as we can. I'm still pretty torn on what to do and I made him stop talkin about it until that time came.
trust me if it is meant to be it will prevail all...as ive stated, im in one now. its tough but if u feel like he's worth it and vice versa then you'll be fine
mine will always be cats in any shape or form. i've always been a big black panther fan though or cougars. felines remind me of myself: curious, somewhat shy, and ever so emotional and fiesty! love them dearly
**** i prefer texts sometimes cuz i just really like to write. this guy im talkin to got unlimited just to keep up with me. we've spoken on the phone too but i think textin takes the sting off. im not a big phone person. either text me or we meet in person. telephones make for awkward ass silence and u get to see who a person really is via how they write like for real. cuz **** slips out unknowingly
i agree with both of u guys. i mean im not going to lie: its hard as hell! lol i cant tell u the number of times i've wanted to go further with some guy but have to be like "damn i got a guy. can't be all serious like that and whatnot".
in a sense, the relationship i have is open but just not on a sexual level. we're pretty open about our intentions and know that we can't be extra judgemental. i mean he's way off in the atl. i cant be like "so who were u huggin up on at Homecoming?" just like he can't be all "so who were u talkin to last night when i called and u didnt answer?"
i think the reason why most long distance relationships fail is cuz of a lack of communication and expectations. you can't expect your boyfriend to steer away from females just like he can't expect you to not want to go and chill at the movies with another guy. in my opinion its not cheating. its just human nature. as human beings we crave opposite sex interaction (same sex too i guess but thats another thread lol).
but i agree with the girl who said that after graduation if the feeling is still there then go for it. but i guess wit my situation, i think i've got a great guy (hell, almost like my bestfriend) and we both think the other is worth it.
thanks for the replies guys! appreciate it
