I would like to attend the 2008 MEAC basketball tournament in NC. Has anyone attended in the past? How are the games and events? Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! Based upon the link below, it seems like a great event! MEACHOOPS.com | The Official Website of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Tournament

schools in tha MEAC dont really have alotta perimeter shooters, its alotta penetratin tha lanes and workin tha inside game, which killz tha excitment of launchin em from downtown... . But if you for dunks, . Be there.

Chiaaa... You have have to understand that MEAC Tournament JUST moved to NC a few years ago. Before it was always in VA and always lived in CIAA's shadow (with good reason, a few of the schools were from the CIAA). In my opinion, it will never be as hype as CIAA used to be in Raleigh. Its still a fairly large tournament, though. I don't think there's as many people that come for the tourney that don't/didn't attend a MEAC school as there are/were for CIAA. Still a good time to be had by all, however.

Thanks for the input. I went to the CIAA tournament last year and had a great time. I wanted to attend this year, but I had a schedule conflict. However, I will definitely try to attend in 2009.
