I'm not sure if you HAVE to be a Bio major to do the BS/MD program but I would think so because everyone I talked to about it kept mentioning Biology Pre Med majors. Marketing cannot be your minor. Last time I checked, students cannot have a major in Arts and Sciences and a minor in the School of Business. Your majors and minors must all be in the same school/college.
Yup, this is true I do recall hearing this in all that info which was given to me. Another question: I was told that you can get a "laundry card" and have money put on it and use it for your clothes. How much does it cost to wash/dry clothes so I can get an estimate on how much I should get put on the card???

Each load of laundry is two dollars... So that's a dollar for washing and another dollar for drying....

New question. When I applied I did not have a 3.25 so I was not eligible for the transfer scholarship program. I will have a 3.25 at the end of this current semester. I was told that I can send a revised copy of my transcript to the school, and I may be able to receive the scholarship. Is this true???

They sent me a letter requiring verification....is that a bad thing??
yikes. check the letter to see if it says anything about financial aid? you didn't get anything about rewards or scholarships did you?? .. this means they need for you to send them additional documents for such and such, here.. [SIZE=-1] Your application for federal financial aid to attend [insert university name here] for the 2008-09 academic year was selected by the federal processor for verification. Students whose files are selected for verification are required to provide the Financial Aid Office with documentation supporting the information you placed on your federal application. Therefore, you are required to bring (or mail) the following information to the Financial Aid Office immediately in order that we may begin processing your application for financial aid:
  • [SIZE=-1]Your (the student) individual income tax return for the 2007 year
  • [SIZE=-1]Your (or you & your spouse) joint income tax return for the 2007 year
  • [SIZE=-1]Your and your parent(s) income tax returns for the 2007 year (Dependent students only)
  • [SIZE=-1]A nonfilers form (if required) for individuals or families who did not file, (you need)
    • [SIZE=-1]W-2 form(s)
    • [SIZE=-1]Nonfiler statement
  • [SIZE=-1]2008-09 Verification form Independent or Dependent, based on your status on the SAR
[SIZE=-1]Forms are available on the [blank university website] Web site at www.[university].edu, and select students, then financial aid. All returns must be signed, and we will need a copy of all forms and schedules submitted to IRS for the 2007 tax return. -- your best bet is to call and confirm this! hope this helped
