Another question: I was told that you can get a "laundry card" and have money put on it and use it for your clothes. How much does it cost to wash/dry clothes so I can get an estimate on how much I should get put on the card???
Laundry card machines are available in every dorm and the card itself costs 5 dollars. I think Ashley is right...1 dollar to wash and 1 dollar to dry. Most people just put 15 and 20 dollars on it, just so when they want to wash and dry they won't have to question whether or not the card has money on it.

Are there any creative writing programs? How is the pre-med program? I know I don't have to Major in Biology but if I do can i minor in something totally different. Also in a Pre-Med Major is there any chance of me having a life?
1. There are Creative Writing courses available for undergrads to take, but no program to major in. At least not to my knowledge...but double check with Arts and Sciences to make sure. 2. The Bio pre-med program from what I hear is quite rigorous, but rewarding in the end. I had a couple of friends to drop it and change their major lol...but I have also had lots of friends complete the program and graduate on time and in good academic standing. 3. Due to the fact that Chemistry will be your minor because of all the Chem requirements you will have to take for the Bio major, it might be difficult for you to take on a minor. But it is very much possible! I had a friend who just graduated, double majoring in Biology and Psychology with a Chem minor. 4. You will have a life with a Pre-Med major lol. Biology majors are always partying...

Also how would i apply for the Academically Talented Student Scholarship
Hmmm, I'm not really sure how you would apply. I do know the criteria and that it is a Donor Based Scholarship. You need to contact the Student Accounts/Accounting Dept. in the Administration Building. They handle all scholarship, grants, etc. Try one of these two numbers: 202-806-2600 or 202-806-2610

Q: Can freshman school of business students not register early?
I think Evy is right...Business students have to wait to be registered manually by their academic advisor.

New question. When I applied I did not have a 3.25 so I was not eligible for the transfer scholarship program. I will have a 3.25 at the end of this current semester. I was told that I can send a revised copy of my transcript to the school, and I may be able to receive the scholarship. Is this true???
If I were you, I would send your revised transcript and see if you get the scholarship. As long as you pay the respective permit fee by May 1 and have a minimum of 30 credit hours, you should be straight. Were you accepted on or before January 31?

I applied shortly before the regular admission deadline, and was accepted about 2 weeks afterwards.

I keep hearing this story that someone got robbed at gun point while trying to go to class. Is that true?

While this story may or may not be true, crime isn't rampant on HU's campus. Just as many crimes occur on campus elsewhere in the US too. A former graduate of my high school was robbed in broad daylight on the campus of North Carolina Central University. Situations like these can be avoided though. I've heard that one should always travel with a group when out and about, especially females.
