:? I am so confused I am currently a rising senior in high school and i do not know which college to attend. I am contemplating between Clark-Atlanta, Howard, FAMU, AND NC A&T, but i don't know which one. I live in DC and i don't want to stay to close to home, but I hear Howard has a good business school(i am majoring in Accounting/Business Management). Can anyone help me and give any suggestions?

u can go to any of those schools but the people i kno that wanna go into that major r going to FAM. ur gonna have to visit and make a list of what u want from a school and see which one of those fit best. plus over the course of applying u will eliminate some schools b/c u change ur mind about wat u want. u might not think u will but i kno so many people including myself who have. good luck.

FAMU also has a good business school....but believe it or not you still have time so don't panic just yet just get to work with scheduling visits and stuff like that.

I have a homegirl who goes to Howard and majors in Business. From what she describes to me, I think Howard has an excellent business program. If you don't want to be close to home FAMU is also very well-known for its business program.

I'm :? confused also, even though I've graduated high school last year it's hard to find one that has my mayjor. I wanna mayjor in Television and Radio production... but my delay comes from either wanting to leave or stay in the NYC...and if i leave; there's only SHAW UNIVERSITY in NC but i don't want that to be my only option. What should I do cause I'm dieing to get into school :?

Go wherever the door opens up, and you feel inside that you already have a connection with the school.

Based solely on your major, I would say FAM or HU((BTW-I don't go to any of those schools listed)) I've heard so many great things about FAMs MBA program and no doubt by the time you get done with college, you're gonna need a Master's. HU has a great accounting program as well. Both are wonderful institutions but the choice is yours sweetie. Let me just give you your props for chosing to go to an HBCU though

Have you considered other schools besides Shaw? I know HU ((Howard)) has an EXCELLENT Mass Comm program! I have many friends who have graduated from it and now have jobs, most were in c/o 2004. I am always an advocate of leaving home to experience college((hell I left Cali and went all the way down south!)) but I know it aint for everyone  My cousin works for a radio station in D.C, but she graduated from Hampton. Battle of the HUs! I would recommend those two to you for Mass Comm ((which includes radio, TV, basically all journalism production type areas)) also consider Clark-Atlanta 8)
