yeah they always tell you in lil brochures that college is alot of studying and blah blah blah, they never tell the TRUE cons of college for the ladies so lemme start
1--if you had a dating life in highschool, kiss it goodbye, there are no more "dates" there are just "you wanna hang out with my friends and go to mickey d's"
2--you wont care one bit about how you look, yeah im sitting here right now with one bloodshot eye and a green avocado face mask and a headscarf trying to stay awake to study
3--a slow metabolism will set in (well that hasnt happened to me yet, im still fairly hyper)
4--stress causes breakouts, if that describes you...invest in proactiv or something before college...COLLEGE stress has caused me to look like I have CHICKEN POX on my face(kenya can confirm lol)
5--now and again yes you may forget to shave...heck fuck it YOU MAY EVEN FALL ASLEEP IN THE SHOWER like i did my freshmen year till someone woke my happy ass up by knocking on the door
6--say WHATEVER YOU WANT people dont go natural for the "look" they do it because perms and hot combing are fucking too high maintenance ...believe me having dreads ya only wash once a week and perms are so not even the same maintenance-wise
7--yep youll go to class in pjs and slippers and a jacket and a headwrap on at least one time...trust!
8--and on that day you do wear those pjs, you wont shower until yo come back from class, may sound grimey but heck sometimes ya gotta do whatcha gotta do
9--ERRR there will never be a day when you decide whether to get your "nails done" or get groceries/toilet paper NEVER!, take your behind to safeway GODDAMNIT...you are a grown ass woman and those are childish decisions :lol:
10--YES college will make you more educated and "GHETTO"...how the hell you think I could open this can of green beans im eating without A CAN OPENER!

but all of these things im hearing it is so eye opening im a seinor in hs now and its all about upkeepin and whos rockin this and what to class but i now see that in college when it comes down to it looks dont matter when u tryna make it in class on time so u dont waste ur money ...from what ive read here

girl u bets believe it. i had a class freshman year that started at 9AM...I rolled out of bed at exactly 8:55 damn near every morning with nothing more than a bandana and some plaid sleeping pants. i threw on my skool hoodie and shook it. truer words never spoken. i know when i cam e to e of my freshman friends spent her first check on "school clothes"...only to come to class and see everyone else in JSU hoodies, hoop shorts, and slippers while she had on her mules and bcbg. she got mad too , like, "DOES ANYONE wear regular clothes around here?" nope, do not get g'd up for class, no one cares. especially if your grades are sucking.
