Some go-go songs are cool, but when I heard them take a Juvenile song and make a go-go song out of it I was upset :x , but is the Lil Jon song like real go-go or a watered-down version? I really don't think alot of people where I'm from can get down with go-go. It's all regional though cuz many people hae come up to me and asked "how can I listen to screw".

I don't understand why a lot of people don't like it. It goes to show the lost for the love of instrumentation in the Hip-Hop/R&B community. Cause that's all it is...instrumentation.

I guess ma name kinda gives it away, but i gotta give it up 4 all ma club heads on tha board. GoGo may be takin ova but keep in mind that club music has already been takin ova, not only is it being played in baltimore, nj, and philly, but we got otha cities across tha country listenin 2 it as well. I guess it's just tha fact that im from bmore, but i still can't get down 2 gogo eventhough DC represent like 50% of tha student population at hampton. But hopefully Lil Jon will put yall on tha map now n have more than just tha dc/pg county area bumpin yall ish.

That's what a lot of people think traditional African music sounds like. It's cool if you just don't like it but I think people should open their minds. That's one the the reasons you came to college; to experience different things. At first I just wasn't feeling go-go cause I didn't know what it was but once I kept listening to more of it I got down with it.

I went to school in DC for a year...Its still trash, Negros beating trashcans screaming with bad mics...Regardless of how u look at it, go-go today is trash compared to original go-go.....
