Tego Calderon - pa' que retozen it reminds me of Reggae from the mid 90s. and yeah... Reggaeton is gettin wack really fast. I don't know what they need to do but they need to switch it up. Its all sounds the same after a while. And i live in Bridgepuerto Rico back home. So I've had my dose of it for the summer.

but see " spanish reggae " has existed for a minute now, so I never undesrtood this whole emergence of " reggaeton "

well i love reggaeton and my favorite artist of that genre is Adassa if you get a chance check out her CD its hard though for people who don't speak spanish or at least understand it at some basic level to appreciate the art of reggaeton. that's probably why they dislike it. they can't blame it on sounding the same because hip hop/rap is based on one beat, with a bunch of chords twisted around (I know because I play mad instruments and have chilled in a recording studio) and so is reggae...any form of a song listened to over and over sounds the same after awhile reggaeton is hot and if you are open enough check out Adassa's CD called "Kamasutra"
