Hey everyone I have been gone for a while and I have been busy with College and everything else Senior year has to offer but I just wanted to say hey to everyone and let yall know about what happened to me in Atlanta when I went to visit Spelman this past week ... there are alot of peope that dont like Spelman girls in Atlanta for some reason? Some random dude thought I went to Spelman at the Mall and he start talking head and I was confused but I liked Spelman and everything when I went to visit the AUC has alot going on and its a wonderful place to be HOWEVER there are some NEGATIVES ! I love Atlanta Georiga with all my heart but some people are just triflin and as much as I am sorry to admit .... I got Hustled, BambooZled, and HoodwhiCked while I was in ATLANTA this Past week!.. Some people are just Faulty as hell ! I learned a good lesson though ... Dont ever give your Bags to a WaCk a** security guard ... even if he is wearing a Badge and a Mall Security Shirt ...
So me and my friend decided to go and hit up the Mall before my interview in Atlanta last Wednesday ... I decided to wear my interview clothes to the mall becuase I wouldnt have had enough time to change when we got back to the hotel... we had to take a Taxi because our counselors took back the rental car and because we were trying to save money we had to go to the Mall nearest our hotel... I knew we would be going to the Lenox mall on Friday so that was out of the question.... so our only choices were the South Dekalb and Stoncrest mall. We wanted to take a cab there so we had the cab driver calculte the fare and because the malls were both 30 minutes away it would be about $100 round trip so I was like Awww he(( no ! so then I started to think about other malls that were close by... the only one that registered in my mind was the Westend Mall ... I knew the mall was in the Hood but I wasnt trippin because I had been there before and it really wasnt all that serious. The cab fair there was only 12 bux so I was like okay thats affordable so me and my friend decided to go. When we got to the Mall all I saw was a whole bung of Crack heads bootleggers and policemen standing in front of the mall ( I expected that ) but out of no where the taxi cab driver was like "Oh we dont usually do pick ups's in this area" and I was like "Well I guess your going to have to take us back" and he started laughing like something was funny and said " Just kidding call me when your ready" and gave me his card he could be reached at . So my friend and I went in the mall and there were like 10 police officers outside the mall and everyone and their mamma was outside ! I was like whats going on ... my friend looked at me and told me I was too over dresseed ( I dressed in the clothes I was wering to my interview becuase I wouldnt have time to go back to the hotel and change) so everyone was staring at me when I went in the Mall but I diddnt really care because a few women told me I looked really nice. So anyways we went in a shoe store and the guys were straight and one of them even thought I went to Spelman so I was like no I dont but I would like to and so on but I bought my brother and I some shoes and me and my friend left... we decided to go to another store that I wasnt too familiar with but they had some cute stuff in the window so I decided to go check it out ... When we walked into the store me and my friend had massive bags from shopping and the security guard asked us for our bags becuse they were having problems with theft in the store so we gave him our bags and he gave us a ticked to retrieve our items when we were done shopping ... so 30 minutes had passed before we were ready leave the store.... we approached the man we have given our bags to upon our departure and we were like "excuse me can we get our belongings back"? and he was like "what are you talking about"? and my friend was like "excuse me" and he was like "I dont know you" .. "Keep it moving" and i was like Wait "excuse me Sr. you told us that you were going to give us our stuff back when it was time to leave" and he pulled me aside and said"Meet me out back in a few minutes and MAYBE we can cut a deal" and my friend was like "hell no you fucking rapist" and she got ghetto and was like I dont know whats going on but you better give us our Shit and she started looking in her purse for the ticked he had given her and when she found it he snatched it out of her hands so she said "I dont know whats going on but im not playing give us our shit now" and he was like "I am sorry I dont konw you keep it moving" and I was like "Sr. you are soo wrong you know you have our stuff why are you doing us like this you know you got our stuff"? then I was like "Sr you need Jesus" and he just started at me for like 2 minutes and was like "Sorry I dont know you" and My freind kept yelling and was like "If its like that then were finna box" and she start taking off her shoes and I was like what in the world is going on here??That was the very first time I had been away from home and I had never been in a situation like that ... I couldnt just pick up the phone and call my parents because they were 3000 miles away... No one who was working at the store even cared and people who were in the store were going about their own buisness like they diddnt see a damn thang so I was like I know know this is not happening ... then I remembered I was in the Westend Mall... people at that mall mind their own damn business and aparently dont see shit... I was pissed off and I was about to cry becuase I had a couple hundred dollars worth of stuff in those bags and this man was not trying to give us our stuff back ... so in the mean time the taxi cab driver called and asked me if we were ready to go and he had the Toll running ! so I was like "Sir this is real PhuCked up you are faulty as hell for this" So me and my friend kept yelling at the man but he wasnt trying to give us our shit back so I was like"Foget this I am leaving" and my friend took off her earings and she got all up in the mans face about to fight him and she said"Marchelle you aint going no where bring yo ass back here we aint leavin till we get our shit"! and I was about to go get the police when she was all up in his face because the situation was completly out of hand so as I was leaving he was behind me walking to the entrance of the store and after 20 minutes he went to this box and retreived our ITEMS and was like "Okay identify your items" and I started to identify my stuff and my friend said"Fuck you nigga I aint identifying shit and snatched her bags" and I was all teary eyed becuase I couldnt believe someone would do me like that but I got my stuff and I will NEVER go back to the Westend Mall again as long as I am black because those negr0es in that Mall were FAULTY as hell! The tricks working in the Store were ghetto as he(( and they were acting like they diddnt see Sh!t and so were the customers! I talked to my friends who are College students in ATL and they told me not to go to that Mall but I diddnt think it was there serious since I had been there before but they also told me that Ni99a wasnt playing he was really trynna keep our sh!t and I was like Da*m this is what I have to look forward to when I am in College... I learned a lesson tho.. dont ever give you bags to anyone because people are ruthless now days... When we finnaly made it to the Tax Cab we told the driver what had happeened to us and he told us that people in Atlanta do that mess all the time to young girls in College but sometimes they dont get their stuff back so I am just glad I was able to get my stuff back because I know my mamma and daddy would have killed me if I would have came back home and told them that !
But the moral of the story is "Never give ya damn bags up to a $2 dolla security man " especially not in Atlanta at the WESTEND Mall ... I am glad this happened to me though because I learned a valuable lesson ... But most importantly I left with my stuff and some knowledge.
lol ATL is straight its just that wack Westend Mall ... its real hood for some reason because of the area but ATLanta is where its at but I have never visited Houston .... but from what I have heard its nice as well :-)

lol...you should've listened when people told you not to go to West End...duuuuuh lol...West End is right in the middle of the SWATS...stuff like that happens...so if you actually get into Spelman (I hope you do) lemme tell you again...stay away from those ghetto ass areas...(West End, Vine City, etc.)...even though you kinda can't avoid it when you're in the AUC lmao...when you're dressed like you were...that made you a target...natives prey on young college students...
PS- stuff like that doesn't happen over here in Stone Mountain lol...try Lennox, Stonecrest, Northlake, etc. next time...wouldn't want anything to happen to you...

Man I should have called you Thunder I was in Stonemountain staying with my Auntie before I went to visit Colleges in Atlanta ... She lives right behing Stephenson High School and I went ouside and I heard their band practicing and they were off the Hoook then I went to Fairfield Baptist Church it was pretty Live at that Church I wish I liven in GA though because I love it ... I pray I get into Spelman as Well becuase I loved it there! But I am mad at that I could have called you the kids who lived next door were not trying to help me out so I had to stay at home bored until my aunt and uncle came home =/
Girl, let me tell you Atlanta is hot, the west end mall is not! You could really enjoy your experience but in the hood it is not always good! I couldn't stand the westend mall the chicks are way too ghetto, the dudes are to aggressive and the service sucks! so yeah have fun but be careful, I'll pray for ya!
