This is a shift position with 12-hour rotating shifts resulting in at least 2 long weekends per month.
Creates and maintains an engaged and team oriented workforce to drive business results.
Collaborate with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments
Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment issues as they arise
Collaborate with quality team on employee training to ensure food safety and product quality requirements are followed
Lead shift start-up meetings to ensure information is relayed between shifts
Manage employee attendance information and payroll responsibilities
Participate in planning staffing levels, assist with hiring process and onboard new employees
Builds people capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training, and communication for front-line hourly personnel
Qualifications & Requirements Qualifications:
4 Year College Degree – Bachelors in Science, Operations/Supply Chain, Engineering or Business (Technical Degree Preferred)
Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shift schedule
1-3 years food manufacturing experience preferred, but any manufacturing experience is a plus
Prior experience as a supervisor of 35+ team members is ideal
