Job Description
Assistant Director, College Athletics
CLASS SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Provide leadership and supervision of assigned College division or function.
Develop and implement goals and objectives in coordination with senior management.
Implement strategies related to operation and services.
Evaluate the effectiveness of policies and procedures to ensure consistency.
Supervise, advise, and evaluate assigned staff, as required.
Prepare, analyze and provide reports on miscellaneous subjects, as requested.
Serve as liaison between College departments, vendors, government agencies and/or other external organizations.
Manage operating budget for assigned division or function, as required.

POSITION SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Implement all aspects of the intercollegiate athletics and related programming on CCBC campuses.
Ensure the NJCAA compliance and the academic progress of student athletes on CCBC campuses.
Provide direction to athletic teams and student athletes on CCBC campuses.
Implement student athletes' recruitment, retention and scholarship programs on CCBC campuses.
Coordinate athletic fund raising programs on CCBC campuses.
Coordinate campus athletic facility operations and events on CCBC campuses. Essential Job Duties are intended to be examples of duties and are not intended to be all inclusive. There will be other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree and five years of collegiate athletic administration and lead athletics development officer experience required. Master's degree is preferred. CPR and First Aid certifications required. Must be at least 25 years of age, in order to operate a youth camp in the state of Maryland. Must have a valid driver's license in good standing with violation points less than five (5).
