The Department of Mathematics at Bucknell University invites applications for several full-time Visiting Assistant Professor positions in Mathematics or Statistics to begin in August 2019. The initial appointment will be for nine months, although reappointment for additional years is possible contingent upon satisfactory performance, departmental needs, and funding approval by the University. Applicants from all areas of mathematics and statistics are encouraged to apply. Qualifications for the position include a Ph.D. in Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related field, and a strong commitment to teaching. We seek a teacher-scholar who will contribute to the department's focus on inclusiveness and the liberal arts mission.
