Inspiring Summer Internship opportunity for a qualified college student currently enrolled at a college or university located in Rhode Island.
The Finance Intern will provide support to the Accounting team through the application of JD Edwards, Data Access Studio (DAS), Business Objects, and OnDemand.
The intern will assist the Accounting department with day to day responsibilities and special projects.
Partner with Manufacturing to understand variances in work order standards, how they impact the general ledger, and accurately report them to management.
Create, update and maintain concise and understandable documentation including but not limited to work instructions, reports, and correspondence and procedure manuals.
Work with and through others for the analysis of production problems, their solution and the effective and successful implementation of the solution.
Present to management on experience at the completion of the Intern periodAll other duties or projects as assigned

The qualified candidate will be working towards a Bachelor’s degree in in Accounting, Finance or related field at a college or university located in Rhode Island
Demonstrated ability to research, review and analyze information from various sources
Outstanding communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team setting and challenge current processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word, and related computer skills
