POSITION SUMMARY: Maintain overall Hygienic Condition of the assigned production line/area. Additionally, support Quality and Safety through routine inspections, coaching, training, auditing and investigations where required.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Keep line/areas in acceptable sanitary condition
Ensure proper separation & track all waste on the line and report out results to team
Push back all totes, barrels, and waste
Coach and Direct Line Associates to identify and resolve SOC’s, drive Quality Tags
Be well versed in all cleaning aspects of the equipment on the line
Set-Up Equipment and Associates for a successful clean and/or changeover
Help train and coordinate the team in proper cleaning Standards
Partake in all cleaning activities for the line
Be able to learn, understand and coach on CIP and Proper Hook-Up’s
Be an active member in the Drumbeat and a driver for TPM
Quality Star-Point for the line
Collect daily swabs according to schedule from QA
Trained to release the line and all equipment following sanitation activities
Audit GMP’s, Code 32’s and Housekeeping
Audit MES/Paperwork for the line to ensure compliance including SSOP documentation
Investigate and problem solve Quality Incidents on the line (Holds, Deviations, etc…)
Participate in Sensory Panel, Quality Meetings, etc…
Safety Star-Point/Stakeholder for the line
Encourage and motivate line members to coach each other’s Risk Predictions via Friends helping Friends coaching opportunities
Make sure all team members have an active Risk Prediction at all times and that they receive at least one coaching per month
Drive safety tag writing and closure on the line – actively use safety tags to reduce risk
Perform Safety audits per the direction from the SHE department (fire extinguisher, emergency shower & eye wash, 5S/organization, PE compliance, 3M Rule, etc…)
Perform the LOTO annual assessments for the line
Ensure line/area personnel remain up-to-date with training requirements(Safety&Quality)
Understand and coach high hazard tasks in your area (permit to work)
Be an Active member in Safety Meetings, Audits, etc…

Qualifications & Requirements
Manufacturing experience preferred.
Communicate with other associates to assure teamwork.
Mechanical aptitude a plus.
Ability to comprehend and follow simple instructions, (Written or oral.)
Detect and understand warning lights, buzzers, alarms or instruments indicating hazardous conditions or circumstances, which may cause equipment or product loss and physical harm.
Highly knowledgeable in good manufacturing practices (GMPs)
Highly knowledgeable in safety rules and procedures.
Must be able to work at least 40 hours per week on an assigned shift with some daily overtime and weekend overtime.
