We have a Black President.But, Where's the Money$

Posted By: jamal Abraham on December 24, 2009 Adults of 40 to 50 million African Americans are wondering that since a majority of their vote went for Barack Obama, wheres the beef. Sure, we have all heard the arguments. From he has to appease the general public which is white to he interited such a mess from former Pres Bush. It gets down to "who is minding the sheep" meaning the Black people. In the days of David, he was the son of who was minding the sheep and Samual blessed. Unemployment, boarded homes, obeisity, sugar diebetes, drugs, depression, Sickle Cell, alcoholism and HIV/Aids are all plaguing black Americans. Who will pay attention to helping the black people. I don't know about you, but it puts no money in my pocket to watch Pres Barack Obama make a eloquent speech. It does not help pay my house note, car note, utility bill or medical costs. In the Bible first book of Samuel (17:31) Saul said to David that he was not able to go fight the Philistine because he was merely a boy. But David told Saul, Your servant used to keep sheef for his father: and whenever a lion or a bear came, and took a lamb from the flock, I went after it and struck i down, rescuing the lamb from its mouth" Maybe Black Americans should concern themselves with themselves and there is no one interested in the issues facing Black Americans that think about what can be done collectively.
