Which is one of the reasons America is a great country, because you have the right to practice your faith without fear of persicussion. There are many things in America that could stand improvement, but a democratic country does not over through its government because they are dissatified with some of their countries political views.We did not ask to come to this country. We were sold down the river:Literally by greedy Europeans, and our own people. African, Muslims; waged wars on neighboring tribes to fill the holds of the Portugese, American, Brazilian, Dutch, and English slave ships. My ancesters came from Africa, and I am proud of my ancestry, and I love my brothers and sisters in Africa. Africa is a country with some of the richest natural resources in the world,eg. Gold, diamonds, oil, yet they are one of the poorest nations in the world. The human race began in Africa, the first written language, and we are decendants from Kings and Queens, yet the country is torn apart by dictators who commit genocide on their own people.Yes, my brothers and sisters are coming home in body bags, and without arms and legs, and our countries foreign policies are not what they should be, that much is true. But, this is our home. We are a country of Muslims, Christians, Jews, Catholics, Athiests, Agnostics, and the list could go one, and we will defend out country, because this is The United States of America, and this is our home. As an engineer and scientist that rely on "reason" my reference of dumb was due to their decision to fight their brother in the Middle East that looks just like them only they wear a fez, turbin or koofi when their brother have done nothing to them. The Iraqiis did not attack America must less any urban community in America. So what intelligence is out there that supports the act of a Black American to go attack them. Even the people in the Middle East tells the Black American soldiers in the Middle East, what business do they have coming over their destroying they country and trying to kill their families. When a few hundred years ago, white slave owners hung, castarated, shot in the back and raped Black Americans. They wonder what kind of logic are Black Americans using to come over their when their skin color is the same and they want to snuff out their life for no reason. I am not in the name calling game, but if Christians want to behave dumb then they should be called out for it. The underlying deal is that Black Americans have a continued hatred of black and those that look like them. They love their enemies and hate their brothers. They say they love God but hate their own kind. Please help me...if that is not dumb what is it. Patricia-Toles Peterson Author/Writer at self employed 9-11, lest we forget. 3 thousand innocent people died, and those who perpetrated this terrible crime stated it was done in the name of Allah. 186,000 slaves, and free blacks fought in the civil war for freedom. Over 30,000 lay in mass graves un-marked, and un-recognized for there heroic contribution to this country. Black Americans are a very proud race of people. We came from a country that did not want us to a country that enslaved us, and no one came to our defense. I do not believe that Allah condones the killing of innocent men, women, and children. And I do not condone the killing of innocent Arab, men, women, and children. I feel a strong kinship to all people of color, but I do not hate all white Americans simply because their ancesters held my ancesters in slavery. Our struggle is not over. We continue to fight for equality. But America will not take a back seat to any country that condones terrorism and attacks our homeland. When the twin towers collapsed, killing over 3 thousand people, they were of every ethnic group that populates this earth; Caucasion, Hispanic, Asian, Arab, and African-American. Every country has skeletons in their past. You say African-Americans hate their own kind, Saddam butchered his own people because they objected to his form of government.We do not hate our own kind, but this is our country, or home, and we will continue to strive to make it better. I am honored to talk to you Jamal.I fell there is a great deal of mis-understanding between us, but we are on the right track. In my kind of work which gets into complex architectures, what we do is draw an example. Say that a tall man was were coming out of the grocery store at the same time that Jesus and myself was walking in then we set on the bench. A mexican looking man through a stone at the tall man and hit him in the head. The tall man asked a white person in the parking lot, "who threw that stone..?, the white man said it was a black guy ". So the tall man went to his car and took a gun out and shot a black guy nearby. Turns out that the black guy had a criminal record. ...when the authorities arrived, the one officer asked Jesus seated on the bench, what happened. Of course, this is hypothetical....but of what I know of the teachings and works of Jesus...this is what I think he would tell the authorities. THE TALL MAN SHOT AN INNOCENT MAN Africa is a large continent. In the bible it teaches that almighty ?God would turn the hearts of the children to the Fathers and the heart of the Fathers to the children lest I come and smite the earth with a curse. It is in the Book of Malachi. My thoughts is to forgive my ancestors after 500 years. My heart is now one of love for the Africans if they will love me and my people.
