TUSCALOOSA | Stillman College will host rival Miles in a Thursday-night game and make a trip to Birmingham to play up a level at Samford University to highlight the 2011 football schedule. Stillman will play six home games in the 2011 football season, including three in a row. The Tigers will play an 11-game schedule, starting at home against Shaw University on Sept. 3 and finishing at home against Concordia-Selma on Nov. 12.
After the Shaw opener, NCAA Division II Stillman will have road games at NCAA Championship Subdivision (formerly Division I-A) Samford, Kentucky State and Tuskegee in succession.
The three-game home stand will see the Tigers host Lane, Benedict and Chowan.
After a trip to Fort Valley State, Stillman will host Miles on Thursday, Oct. 27.
