MEDITATE SUNDAY: CONTROLLING PRIDE

The world lusts after pride and exalts that pride be displayed in people of the world. In fact, the world praises proud people and make them idols unto themselves. However, in the meditation to control pride we have lessons to suppress such unruly feelings of pride. When pride is making its way to control you, meditation will calm down the much too powerful pride and proudful elements in your mind and heart. God hates zealous pride in a person, but loves humility. Meditation practices in exalting God will give you the controlling thoughts of pride so that you'll walk in humble steps. You will meditate to become lowly and in understand that high pride gives way to dangerous steps away from true meditation of worship. One should always be careful of looking with proudness using humility to outshine the dangers of being called the greatest in anything. Your daily life's approach should be in pleasing meditation to remain lowly, thankful, humble and filled with faith. You'll find living in the virtures of righteousness God will be highly favored with you. Meditation Scriptures on pride.. "All that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father but is of the world. 1st John:216 "Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem each other better than themselves." Philemon 2:3 Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil. 1 Timothy: 3:6 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words..He is proud, knowing nothing. 1 Timothy 6:3-4 Once you have learned what God expects you'll know that your meditation is teaching you lowliness and not proudness you will find you are becoming closer to what pleases God in your service, worship of praise, and meditation of Him. "Let the words of my mouth the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight O' Lord my strength and my redeemer.
