HBCUCONNECT.COM Publishes Official 2011 HBCU Homecoming & Football Classics Schedules.
Columbus, OH — September 15, 2011 – HBCU CONNECT once again publishes the most complete listing of Homecoming dates and Football classics for our nation’s 105 Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
A tradition that has gone back now for over 100 years, Black College homecomings draw thousands of professional African Americans to their alma-maters to enjoy tailgating, college football, and reconnecting with old classmates. “Homecomings are actually the largest draw to our HBCU campuses each year, so we thought we would do our part and make it an annual tradition to publish an official list for our members and website visitors” says Will Moss, Founder and current CEO of HBCU CONNECT, LLC.
African Americans take note, as forward thinking companies have also capitalized on the opportunity to connect with the growing population of professional African Americans that participate in the homecoming festivities. Torin Ellis, a member of the business development team for HBCUConnect.com added - “This year we have had quite a bit of participation from some really great partners. For example, Choice Hotels and Comfort Inn are running a promotion now on HBCUConnect.com offering a sweepstakes for a chance to win the ultimate HBCU football weekend at the Florida Classic.”
As black college alumni gear up for the homecoming trips this fall, HBCU CONNECT also recently launched an online marketplace (www.hbcuconnect.com/marketplace/) featuring over 6,000 HBCU related products to make your search for tailgating attire that much easier.

Each Historically Black College and University homecoming is listed at:
