A New Coach Is Coming ... and Siran Stacy Will Speak At Talladega College

Posted By: Reginald Culpepper on April 13, 2012 Talladega College has ended its national search for a new Men’s Basketball Head Coach. Coach William Brown III resigned in early March after three seasons at the College. A press conference is scheduled to announce the new appointment on Thursday, April 19, 2012. During Brown’s stint, the College attained a second consecutive U.S. Collegiate Athletic Association National Championship. However, the last two seasons did not prove as successful. Following Brown’s resignation, the College began the search for a new coach. On the evening of April 19th, Talladega College President, Dr. Billy C. Hawkins will announce to the public who has been appointed as the new basketball coach. The press conference is scheduled for 6:45 p.m. in the Hospitality Room of Callanan Gymnasium. The announcement will take place shortly before the All Leaders and Sports Banquet where Star Football Athlete and Motivator, Siran Stacy will be the featured speaker. Tickets are available and the general public is invited to attend the banquet. The banquet tickets are $12 for adults and there is a group rate for 20 or more people at $8 per person.
