To all the ladies that decide to take on the role of a mother, I say God Bless You. Although I'm not a mother myself, from what I've witnessed, I know its not a 100% glamorous job. It is something that like marriage should be taken seriously. And sadly not enough people do take it seriously. It is why I wish more women regardless of age, race or religion really thought about it. I feel like to many women go into it with this fantasy of how it'll be and not look at the long hard truth. They forget that when you have a baby especially the natural way, in some cases you are stuck with the father of the baby in your life. You're more married in some cases with that baby then an actual ring. And sadly too many times people use babies as some sort of tool and don't think about the baby and it actually being a person with its own thoughts and ideas. Putting to much pressure on the baby and just creating a mess of their own lives. More women especially just need to be honest, especially with themselves. That A, not everyone needs to be a mother. B.) The person you're trying to have a baby with...really don't need to be in their lives for the long term. and C.) Is it really worth it? Do you really want/need to have a baby? Or is it just a phase? And finally not enough women, in my opioion are ready for the job because if they were too look in all aspects of their lives from physical to finacial they'd realize that as nice of an idea having a baby is...it's not always the right way to go.
I wouldn't say its a glamorous job although some of the celebrities and entainers make it appear to be such as Beyonce' and Angelina Jolie.
On a serious note though thank you for the encouraging blog and its one of the most rewarding of jobs if your children turn out to make you proud. Definitely think that you've hit the nail on the head when you stated that people should put more thought into taking on this type of responsibility before taking the big step.
I absolutely agree with with the things that you have listed from a thru c for people to ponder before starting a family. Thank you for this blog and God bless you!
