I had the oppurtunity today, to not only go to church where the men in the congregation who are dads were recognized, but also speak to some men in my "family" that are fathers. It was moving all around, to really see the impact of just how special and how important of a job it is to be someone's father. It is an important role and I saw that today, I also saw just how much a day like today brings about such pain and frustration for so many reasons.
To all the men out there, I hope you know just how powerful and how important a role you play in the lives of the children around you. To the children if you have a relationship w/ your dad, treasure it, it can be taken from you in an instant. And to everyone as a whole today was another day to celebrate family, whatever that means to you. I just ask that we all take the time out to work on our family relationships. I say this because I talked to a relative today and really understood just how much the actions of parents can have on the children. And just how much those first relationships w/ family can have a lasting impact on generations of family to come. Do not take any of this stuff for granted people. It'll come back to you when you least expect it. I'm just saying speaking as an observer/child/daughter. Get it together or you will pay dearly. In the end I wish all Father's a Happy Father's Day!!!!!!! Hope you enjoyed it
