Ronald Bethea
Morgan State University class of 1973
In 1991 I worked costly with George Wilson a very cost friend and national radio coorspondent on Capital Hill. Here in Washington D.C. we ere able to get the fromer Congressmen Diamondly. Who introduce a bill which focused on the major television networks and the like of HBCU's football games being teleovised. On national teleovision at that time and the like of teleovision revenue being paid to HBCU's in a national disgrace which still holds true today. This hearing was attended by former head coach of Grambling coach Eddie Robinson and former Penn State coach Joe Paterno. I will never forget Paterno remark's to coach Robinson the major football school did not run a walfare system for the Grambling,Morgan and FAMU of this world. An if the HBCU's did not get out and put their own televison deals together they would be short. So the NCAA ruling today is legendary justice as it relates to Eddie Robinson replacing Paterno as the winning coach in Divison 1 football.
