NICK CANNON ADDRESSES "KNOCKOUT" GAME AND OPENS UP ABOUT PAST LIFE AS A GANG MEMBER (1607 hits)
Nick Cannon addressed the “Knockout Game” and gang violence in a series of tweets on Friday.
On the same day that Rose McGowan witnessed a random act of violence in Los Angeles, Cannon spoke from the heart about his own concerns on Twitter.
“We need to give our young people something to ‘fight’ for!” wrote the entertainer. “I was a kid when not given direction I ran astray, but guidance gave me something to ‘fight’ for.”
Cannon continued, “Guidance has to come from someone we respect and admire.”
“Idle hands are the devil’s tools,” added the “America’s Got Talent” host. “Feral fire is dangerous but a harnessed flame can light up the world #DamnIShouldWriteABo ok .”
He went on to declare:
I think everyone that has ever played the "Knock Out Game" should have to enlist into the Armed Forces.

Those kids aren't lost causes. I used to be a knucklehead who did dumb stuff because I was "bored". I'm forever in debt to those I harmed.

At the end of the day I learned it's all about self worth. If you care about yourself, you will care about others.
