HBCU CONNECT Exclusive Overview of Intel Corporation and Career Opportunites (2909 hits)

Intel is the world’s largest semiconductor manufacturer with over 100,000 employees globally and revenues of over $59 billion annually.

The Intel vision is for all devices that are smart and connected to work best on Intel architecture. Intel hires over 2,200 students each year in the United States, one half of which are summer intern positions. Major departments at Intel include the Intel Sports Group, New Devices Group, Internet of Things Group, Data Center Group, Software & Solutions Group, Technology & Manufacturing Group, Client Computing Group and Artificial Intelligence Group, College Graduate openings are available at the Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD level. Many of the roles require degrees in Computer Science, Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering. Some graduate roles also consider Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science and Chemical Engineering. About 10% of the openings are for Analyst roles, which can be filled by Finance, Economics or MBA students.
