Offensive Reminders: Not In Our Face, But Not Swept Under A Rug. (1157 hits)

The problem has been that America's Dirty Past has been swept under the rug, so the visitor, immigrant, refugee and sadly the average White American has no comprehension or compassion for the struggle of Black America.

As an artist, I feel these Works of Art that glorify the injustices of the Past should be removed, protected, and placed on display in a museum or a venue preserved for history as a reminder,

The fees generated could/should go toward replacements and maintenance of those statues and monuments removed with statues and monuments of events depicting the brave men and women, who sacrificed theirs lives for equality.
