We’re seeking a highly organized, personable individual with strong writing and discriminating reading skills to provide administrative support to the office in general as well as specific support to several literary agents with both nonfiction and fiction lists. Administrative duties include answering phones, routing contracts, event planning, updating databases, managing foreign tax forms, and assisting with basic client management. Duties also include reading submissions and queries, co-managing the agency unsolicited queries account, helping to prepare manuscripts and pitch letters, targeting and assisting in the pursuit of new clients.
