Mr. Rickey Duncan is a participant and graduate of the SCI Graterford Fathers And Children Together Initiative ("FACT") which was designed and is being implemented by Thought Leaders at SCI Graterford who are members of United Community Action Network and the Latino American Cultural Exchange Organization, Created in 2012, FACT is designed to eradicate Fatherlessness and Intergenerational Incarceration. It is a two-tiered initiative which offers intense parenting training to Incarcerated Fathers and the mothers of their children. Mr. Duncan is the first Father graduating from FACT who has successfully completed his state parole.

He is also the Executive Director of New Options, More Opportunities, a non-profit organization based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.


Mrs. Rickey Tahira is a participant in the FACT Initiative and successfully completed the program along with her husband, Mr. Duncan. She will discuss the FACT Initiative from the perspective of a Mother, and discuss the counseling she received and the positive impact the FACT Initiative has had and continues to have.
