Business School Dean Lecture Series Brings AT&T, Samsung Execs to Campus (112 hits)

As consumers, itís easy to notice how competitive the nationís largest and most well companies, such AT&T and Samsung are in attracting consumers to use their network for mobile use or purchase their smartphones.

Thomas Harvey Sr., Senior Vice President for AT&T and Alanna Cotton, Senior Vice President for Samsung visited the campus recently to share their knowledge with SAU students, as part of the Business School Dean Lecture Series, at the invitation of Dean Van Sapp, from the School of Business, Management and Technology.

As head of the Client Solutions & Operations division, Harvey is responsible for leading an organization comprised of 1,850 employees in 26 countries that provide complex solution design and post-sales customer advocacy for AT&T Business customers globally. Thomas was appointed to his current position in June 2017.

Cotton is responsible for Product Marketing at Samsung. In this role, Cotton has full revenue and P&L responsibility for the Tablets, PC, Wearables, Mobile Audio and Virtual Reality businesses in the U.S. market. Others who follow the mobile electronics industry may also recognize Alanna as one of the presenters during Samsungís annual press conferences introducing new mobile devices and computers.
