About Our Guest:
Francisca Harding a science teacher from New York. She has worked for many years educating young people in Anthropology, Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science and Genetics subjects. She also wants to create her own academy in the Dominican Republic which will specialize in STEAM subjects.

She is also the CEO of Harding Media and Consulting LLC. The company specializes in bridging the gap between under-served minority communities and business, educators, innovative new scientist, investors, political organizations and non-profits.
Along with teaching and running her own company she is also the founder and president of Harding’s Heart Foundation. The charity helps to support young men who are homeless and who have had problems with the law through education and alternative prison programs.

Her aspiration is to transform education by creating open spaces for people to educate themselves in science and technology for free.

Francisca Harding is a amazing woman who is educating the next generation of STEAM leaders!


About the host of Teacher Talks:

Stacie McClam is an educator, speaker, filmmaker, and radio show host. She has 10+ years of teaching experience. Stacie has taught in Washington, D.C., Japan, Denver, Kuwait, and in Los Angeles County. She recently returned to the classroom as a substitute teacher. As a law school graduate she hoped to work in education reform but then realized that it took too long to change policy. Stacie feels that she can better serve students outside of the classroom by exposing the realities that occur inside the classroom through film.
