CSU Basketball Program Recruits Top High School Players (3315 hits)

Central State University mens basketball program has announced the signing of two of the top 30 players in Ohio high school basketball. Coach Doug Lewis signed Cole Prophet (Sandusky H.S.) and Lee Tabb Jr. (Toledo Rogers H.S.) Prophet is a 55 point guard (22 points per game and 8 assists per game) who was 1st Team All District, All Northwest Ohio and Special Mention All Ohio Division I. Tabb is a 69 forward who averaged 15 points and 15 rebounds per game. I believe these two players are the cornerstone for our success the next four years, says Coach Lewis.

The Marauders, who finished the 2007-2008 season with a record of 21-5, will be entering their first season as a full member of the NCAA Division II and will be eligible for NCAA Post Season Competition, being included in the NCAA stats and rankings.
