Interactive Media Technology Programmer (6168)
The ITTA- Interactive Media Technology Programmer will work directly with the Associate Director for Web Strategy in recommending and/or implementing interactive technologies. The Programmer will use coding languages, authoring tools, mark-up languages and scripting to create the product. He or she may, for example, develop online applications/systems/website or functionality as part of an interactive media product. In the case of web-based products, this will sometimes mean the Programmer will manage servers, program code and databases that run on the web server in whole or part of an online system or application and/or recommend already existing systems and develop strategies to implement. Additionally, the Interactive Media Technology Programmer will also manage, test and maintain those systems/applications (this includes but is not limited to the SIUE CMS) in addition to providing training/support when appropriate.
The ITTA- Interactive Media Technology Programmer may be assigned additional duties and responsibilities in support of the Centerís mission and goals. Candidates must be work authorized in the United States.

Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Acceptable Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in communications, digital media, computer or information science, or related field and demonstrated effectiveness in online application/website/system/database programming development, strategy, planning and execution.
2. Programming experience with (years can be concurrent):
HTML (1-3 years of experience)
CSS (1-3 years of experience)
-Must have some professional experience with responsive design.
-Master's degree from an accredited institution in communication, digital media, computer or information science, and demonstrated effectiveness in online application/website/system/database programming development, strategy, planning and execution.
-Programming experience in any of the following: JQuery, PHP, Database Management/Implementation (MySQL) and Cascade Server (XSLT and Velocity).
