Director of Development, College of Nursing
The Ohio State University
Columbus, OH

Position Overview:
Momentum within Ohio State’s College of Nursing and the university as a whole is truly palpable. As we lay out the priorities and strategies that will inform the College of Nursing’s posture within the university’s next campaign, we are already in the midst of a campaign of our own to construct a new facility on campus specifically to accommodate Nursing’s rapidly-growing student base to ensure the momentum continues as we move into the future.

The Director of Development will join the team at this incredible time to develop and implement plans to secure major gifts from alumni, corporations and foundations in support of the college’s mission, vision and values as set by the dean and development’s senior director of development for medicine and nursing.

Serving a visionary, energetic and highly engaged Dean while working on a passionate, hard-working team, the selected candidate will inherit a well-qualified portfolio of major gift prospects while still having the ability to develop entirely new ones. This position, managing two direct reports, provides the unique opportunity to work with a very accomplished alumni engagement program that is continually enhancing the capabilities of Nursing’s Advancement team. This will prove immensely valuable because it ensures we have a solid foundation upon which to build as we look ahead to Ohio State’s next capital campaign.
