Master Audiovisual Technician
Lake-Sumter State College (LSSC) invites candidates to apply for our Master Audiovisual Technician position. The Technician will be responsible for the daily support and maintenance of all college audiovisual equipment. In addition, the Technician will be responsible for leading the college’s long term and short-term audiovisual planning efforts, providing end-users with training and assistance as required, and providing some limited video recording and editing. Responsible for demonstrating LSSC’s core values of Learning, People, Student Success, and Forward Thinking, in all interactions.

Qualifications & Requirements EXPERIENCE: In-depth knowledge of multi-media presentation systems, experience setting up, configuring and maintaining meeting room systems (i.e. Polycom, WebEx, Zoom, etc.), some video production and editing experience.
EDUCATION: Associate in Arts. In lieu of degree and certifications, consideration can be given for extra recent years of experience as approved by the President. Preferred: Associate in Science. Extron AV Associate certification.
