Audit Services conducts audits and reports the results of our work to the Audit & Examinations Committee of the Board of Directors. We provide independent, objective assurance and consulting services delivered through a highly competent and diverse team. As a business partner, Audit helps the Company accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.

Audit Services is separated into individual audit teams, each led by an Executive Audit Director (EAD). These teams include:

Corporate Risk and Capital Management, (CRCM) which is comprised of Operational Risk, Compliance Risk, Enterprise Risk, Credit Risk, Model Risk, Capital Adequacy, Basel, and Capital Regulatory Reporting teams.
Consumer Banking Audit Team (CBAT), supporting consumer businesses, payments, virtual solutions, and innovation. Also includes the Remediation Coverage Program, driving remediation activities across WFAS.
Enterprise Technology Audit Group (ETAG), supporting information technology and security across the company- for team members and customers.
Enterprise Functions, which is comprised Finance & Corporate Activities (FCA), supporting Resolution and Recovery Planning, Corporate Treasury, Accounting and Financial Reporting and Regulatory Reporting and Conduct and Sales Practices (CSP)
Financial Crimes Audit Team (FiCAT), supporting compliance for Bank Secrecy Act, Anti- Money Laundering, Fraud and Global Anti-Corruption.
Shared Services Audit Team (SSAT), supporting cross-functional activities, including enterprise testing, data innovations and data analytics.
Strategy & Operations (SAOG), provides operations, infrastructure, guidance, support, development and strategy for all audit teams.
Wealth and Investment Management (WIM), supporting business lines supporting affluent advising, lending, fiduciary, and investment services.
Wholesale Banking (WHLS), supporting business lines supporting middle-market, corporate, and institutional businesses.
WFAS is seeking talented college students finishing their junior year to join its audit team as an Audit Intern.

The Audit Intern Program is an exciting place to begin your career. This 10-week professional development program will expose you to several areas of the company and allow you to develop critical skills in internal audit, leadership, and communication.

Audit Interns participate in basic audit projects as directed by auditors-in-charge. They are responsible for developing and applying basic audit skills while performing test work in audits of business activities; applying WFAS knowledge to audits; documenting work performed according to WFAS standards and policy; identifying audit exceptions and issues; making recommendations to management; and discussing findings with auditors-in-charge, supervisors, and business partners.

The Audit Intern Program provides exceptional grounding for those seeking careers in financial services. Upon successful completion of the program, you are eligible for becoming a candidate for the full time WFAS Associate Program starting the following year.

As an Audit Intern you will:

Learn the fundamentals of financial services, auditing, and risk analysis in both classroom and on-the-job training.
Take part in a range of audit and risk advisory projects that will expose you to various Wells Fargo businesses.
Gain insight into the complex world of risk management through exposure to a variety of audit projects ranging from regulatory compliance to information technology.
Interface with various levels of business management and team members
Benefit from a strong learning curriculum and ongoing professional development offerings that underscore a strong commitment to continuous learning.
Receive continual feedback, coaching, and mentoring during the program.
Notes: Wells Fargo will not sponsor visas for this position and will not hire individuals whose work eligibility is based on their F-1 or other student visa status. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.
