The Reeves Law Group Scholarship Contest

Dollar Amount: Up to $1,000
Deadline: July 01,2014
Sponsor: The Reeves Law Group
Award Type: Scholarship Money

Our law firm specializes in representing victims of accidents and other tragic circumstances. As lawyers, we feel fortunate to be advocates in the justice system for those who have no voice of their own. Helping people in need by lending them our expertise and resources is one of our greatest rewards. However, being a lawyer is not a requirement for standing up and fighting for the rights of those who have been victimized. We are in fact looking for students who have made significant contributions by helping those who have met with misfortune in their lives.

For this, our first annual scholarship contest, we want to hear from students who have helped in significant ways individuals or groups who have been in dire need of rescue or other assistance. The gestures may involve tending to individuals at a hospice, finding shelter, food and other necessities for homeless or destitute individuals, or fundraising on their behalf. These are just examples. We welcome hearing about your experience, which may involve other circumstances and acts of compassion, commitment and courage.

Please tell us about your experience helping individuals in your community who could not help themselves, and how it has impacted your life and their lives. The student who submits the most inspiring story will be awarded $1,000 to be invested in his or her educational costs.

Apply Today!

The contest is open to both high school seniors who are looking to enter college at the start of the next school year, as well as students currently enrolled in a college or university. The deadline for submitting your story is July 1, 2014. A winner will be selected and announced on July 15, 2014.
