2014 ImproveNet’s DIY Repair Scholarship Topic: Future homeowners or current students are always looking for ways to save a buck or two and a great way to keep your hard-earned dollars in the bank is by completing everyday do it yourself (DIY) projects around the house. We want to hear from the handiest students in America. So, the topic of this scholarship is: How to fix ________. You have free reign. Whether it’s as simple as mounting a TV or as complicated as installing new siding, as long as its related to the interior or exterior of the home, we want to see it. Feel free to include images or videos that highlight the steps in your DIY project. Answers will be graded based on their creativity, originality, quality and relevance towards DIY and home improvement projects. Requirements: Minimum: 500 words Maximum: 2,000 words | |
