Sponsor: Do Something
Award Type: Scholarship Money

Did you know that one in every four women will experience domestic violence in her lifetime? A lack of alternative housing often leads women to stay in, or return to, violent relationships. DoSomething.org is asking young people to donate old cell phones to be recycled by our friends at SecondWave Recycling. Not only will the profits made by selling these recycled phones help support domestic violence programs, participants can earn a chance to win a $10,000 scholarship for school. One entry per cell phone; unlimited entries allowed. There are no essays or minimum GPA required.
