Are you an environmentally concerned, but tight-budgeted student, who works hard in school, maintaining a high GPA?

Plastic Place offers financial incentives by sponsoring a scholarship to help you pay for school.

The Plastic Place Green Scholarship is awarded to select applicants with strong academic credentials based on GPA and SAT scores, and other application criteria. Winning the award will require some work on your part. If you’re a good writer who is passionate about the environment, our scholarship essay contest could be a great option for you. We ask that you produce a thoughtful, well-written essay on the topic listed below to enter into the contest. The winning essay will be chosen on the basis of quality of research, originality, and presentation. The winner will be awarded The Plastic Place Green Scholarship for academic excellence, and environmental activism and advocacy.

Who is Eligible for the Scholarship:
- Incoming students for fall of 2015, who are US Citizens.
- The scholarship will be payable to the winner's college/university (in the US).
- Winners are not based on financial need.
- Homeschooled students may apply as long as academic level is equivalent to that of their peers.
- Scholarship awarded to students with an average SAT score of 1070 and average GPA of 3.5 or above.
